Scottish Black Writers Group is a free writers group facilitated by Titilayo Farukuoye and Jeda Pearl. It is a monthly event open to writers across the UK and Ireland who are Black/from the African diaspora, including people of mixed heritage.
Scottish Black Writers Group is a space to meet, chat, network and talk about the writing life – writers both published and unpublished are welcome to join us.

Bolu Babalola is a British-Nigerian author, screenwriter, and journalist. Her debut anthology Love in Colour was published in 2020 and became a Sunday Times Bestseller. She appeared on the 2021 Forbes 30 under 30 list for Media and Marketing in Europe.
Bolu is a writer of books, scripts, culture pieces and retorts, a lover of love and self-coined “romcomoisseur”, Bolu Babalola writes stories of dynamic women with distinct voices who love and are loved audaciously. She is a big believer in women being both “Beauty and the beast”
Bolu’s romantic comedy Honey & Spice will be published as paperback on May 11th May.
