Workshop: ‘Meditation & Coming Home’ with Raheema Sayed

This workshop explores how the practice of meditation intertwines with the writing process. How do we ‘come home’ to ourselves? Sign up here!

Please be mindful when booking. This is a workshop for Black writers and writers of colour based in Scotland (or for people who, pre-COVID, would have normally been resident in Scotland).

Meditation & Writing Practices

Join Raheema Sayed for this free, 2-hour, online workshop for writers at all levels and in all genres!

Meditation is a practice of coming back to your breath. This workshop explores how your writing practice connects with the idea of breath, and coming home to your body. What are the different ways we can come home to ourselves? Meditation can remind us that writing helps us reclaim our power. It can help us become more aware of our bodies and surroundings. Meditation helps us pave a way toward expressing our emotions through writing, and connecting more deeply with our feelings.

Essential items include: access to the internet, and a working camera and mic
