Enjoy an evening of bringing together Artists of Colour living and working in Scotland and those visiting for the Edinburgh Festivals on 28 August at 19:00. Plus, vegan and gluten free treats!
This event also celebrates 8 years of Fringe of Colour!
Children are welcome to attend, but the event is aimed at adults, and music will be loud and may have adult themes.

The venue is fully wheelchair accessible, with good transport links nearby.
Bathrooms will be gender-neutral.

- We have a number of travel, data and child/carer bursaries available for BPOC writers – request a bursary by completing our form.

Spaces are limited, so if you have registered for this event, but are unable to attend, please let Fringe of Colour know ASAP so they can offer your space to another person.

Open to Black writers and writers of colour based in Scotland.
Key dates and details
- Performers will get a 7-minute slot to perform their work.
- Performance fee: £78.75
- We can cover travel (ticket receipts required) and/or a child/carer bursary of £30.
- Registration closes 13th August at 5pm
- If you’ve been selected to perform, we’ll contact you by email on 14th August.
- You will need to supply a draft of your reading by 18th August to our BSL interpreter.
