What is #ReadPalestineWeek
Publishers4Palestine have put out a call of action encouraging people to #ReadPalestineWeek: “read fiction and poetry by Palestinian and Palestinian diaspora authors, as well as nonfiction about Palestinians and Palestinian history, politics, arts, culture, and life, and other books about organizing, resistance, and solidarity for a Free Palestine.”
Session information
Over the lunch hour on 3rd December, we will share space together and read aloud from works like And Still We Write, a free e-zine distributed by Publishers4Palestine, Forest of Noise by Mosab Abu Toha, Ash and Air by Nadine Murtaja, trans. by Fatema Alhashemi, and others. If you would like, please bring work by Palestinian writers to the session, which you will be invited to share with the group. We will hold space together, and participate in our continued resistance through this sharing of information and creative work.
